Over the weekend my parents came to visit. My mom brought with her a small blue booklet, with a felt cover and the number 75 on the front of it.
Upon opening it I saw that it was a commemorative book for Charlevoix Lodge No. 282, F.&A.M. from December 20th, 1946. As I continued to flip through it, I noticed a name I recognized – “Junior Warden ………. “Ronald Abfalter””. My great grandfathers name. Previous to this discovery, I thought my only connection to Masonry was my great grandfather Totten. I’ve reached out to Charlevoix Lodge to see what other information they can provide, and how deep this rabbit hole goes.
